I think you are confusing the two procedures.
Following a dismissal, if thinking the result is unfair, you submit an appeal within the specified timeframes, in writing.
If, however, you felt your manager was bullying you, or you were being discriminated against, *generally*, and not specifically related to the dismissal, you would lodge a grievance.
But lodging a greivance now, solely after the dismissal, would look very tit for tat and not help the case, most likely.
ACAS/ |ET need him to APPEAL to consider the case, thus exhausting the internal procedures.Debt free 4th April 2007.

I believe the procedure has now changed.
But they must put in an appeal letter0
