    Hi all,
well, I failed miserably at flying last week - no real excuse, just a combination of being busy, tired, headachy & CBA-ness!
I did manage to keep up with the thread though & joined in with the visualisation last night - fingers crossed for good results!
    Here's my list for today:
Magnificent Monday - Kitchen and dining room
    Level One

    Clear and wipe worksurfaces
Scrub down the front of units and large appliances and kickboards
    Level Two
    Wipe and replace small appliances
    Clean out the gruesome fridge
    Wash windows
    Level Three
Wipe the table and chairs... clean cloth if necessary
    Sweep and mop the floor
    clear and wipe window sills

I'll get stuck in when i get home from work later this afternoon,

    morning everyone!!

Sorry about posting last night, I do have a habit of speed reading and therefore not getting the full picture!!

Can I join your fly group??? My house isn;t really bad but its not perfect either and I seem to spend all my time not getting anything done. Mind you MSE doesn't really help with that much!!:D

    :xmastree:

Michelle - you could try this. Choose a place in the house which is the only place you are allowed to think about work - a certain chair prehaps. When you mind wanders to work go and sit on the chair and tell yourself you can think about work for as long as you stay there. Once you get off you stop thinking about it. If it comes back into your mind back to your chair you go until you're done thinking. Sounds balmy but it is a bit like the don't think about elephants thing - the more you tell yourself to stop the harder it will be. Good luck, look deep into your heart for the answer lies there.
That made me laugh. I was thinking about it like a naughty step for the kids. Perhaps i should use the bottom step. :rotfl:

Don't worry about me. I have some reading materials underway to distract me, a full house that needs cleaning, a DS who is potty training (when i haven't got him at nursery) and a DS who can't walk but trying to climb onto everything. My sister is coming over this afternoon to provide some moral support. Apparently her and my other sister had already come to the conclusion that my next move would be to fall pregnant again to escape being at work.

I think i may have to get my ideas around a few things before i can make any decision, and i reckon the earliest i could leave anyway would be xmas, so i need to work out a plan of sorts. Today is for washing and reading though. Maybe some time in the garden.

Morning all, I've woken up with a splitting headache. I have to make a start on doing DH's accounts today. And I really want to try to complete the whole list for today on the actual day it's for.

Welcome Dragonflygem, things sound really stressful for you what with hubby being ill. Take things slowly, don’t try to do it all at once. But having a neat and tidy house will help the stress levels – I find I feel much better when my house is neat and clean!

Hugs Holly, OH and nephew’s family, that’s sad news

Soappie, too late to remind you to take change for the bridge, hopefully you will have!

Fedup, hope you get some proper sleep soon – are you feeling wide awake at night, or is something disturbing your sleep or what?

Michelle, hugs, try not to worry about work. Have a rest and try to do things you enjoy

Mudbath, hope the funeral goes as well as possible

Good morning! Sun is trying to shine here. We had snow on Friday and have had the heating on all weekend.

Hugs to you, your OH and family Holly
    michelle,
it seems like you have plenty to occupy you, I don't now know how I ever had the time to work with four kids and doing a masters at the same time. Now I still have too much to do!!
rosepink I hope the headache goes soon,. You just reminded me that DHs accounts need doing too so that we can complete DS1s student loan application. I think 'manana'!

Please can you think of my cousin who is ill in hospital with breast cancer. It was a huge shock for me to hear about her yesterday so goodness knows how she is feeling.
