Was woken up by a car alarm at some unearthly hour this morning... then the jackdaws teaching their babies to fly (or shouting at a cat, not sure which ) so couldn't stay awake but couldn't sleep... ended up reading and got up when I finished the book!

It's sunny outside now, with big fluffy white clouds, so hopefully will stay dry. I've had my breakfast and got dressed, so now need to get going on the flying.

Pigpen - have you called the RSPCA about Hazel? They may well be rather more interested than the police and they can use the law to deal with this kind of thing if their investigations turn up decent evidence.

Toots - if you give us a list of what you've got in the house we'll try to come up with some easy things for you to make and freeze. Then you can do your meal plan and your online shop for the rest of the week.

Oh ... and for all those dieters, apparently people who eat two eggs a day lose more weight than those who don't. And if you have two eggs for breakfast on average you'll eat 400 calories fewer than people who don't. Mind you, it's just what I've read in a couple of different places, I haven't actually seen the research!

With the ideas I supplied for toots, please make sure you all eat enough. The only problem with eating mostly fruit and veg is that it's easy to eat too few calories, so you need to weigh your food and calorie count. You also need to work out how much you need and when to eat, particularly if you're exercising. Whether you're trying to lose or gain weight, the basic maths is that if you eat more calories than you use, you'll gain if you eat less that you use, you'll lose. Simple really :D

For those doing their walking in cities try www.walkit.com. It works out routes, and tells you steps, calories etc. It doesn't do all cities, but there seem to be more every time I look at it!

    Hello everyone..
    I'm a complete disgrace to this thread:eek:

I've done so little round the house this past few days and I've got a very busy few days ahead this week. So I got up at 5.30am in order to get as much housework done as I could. I had a coffee first, planned what to do this morning and erm...fell asleep!

I am so far behind. I'll be in the thread and COMMITTED starting on Wednesday morning.

Good luck to everyone for the week ahead and I do hope people are enjoying the weekend.
