Hi
Does anyone know if there is a service where an engineer or someone visits your home to set up gaming systems. I'm in Essex/Greater London area. My ds is wanting an xbox in August and we are completely out of our depth in connections etc
Thanks

There will be instructions in the box - given that you need to connect just one cable, I'd be loathed to pay any money to someone to do this.0 -
Fonz- Thanks. Is it really just one cable? He wants it connected so that he can play online, our pc is downstairs and the xbox will be upstairs0

Networking adds a slightly more complex element to the process but not enormously. How do you connect to the internet, is it a modem connected directly to your pc or do you have a router with/without wireless?0

not quite.....
you have (at the minimum) one for power and another for connecting to the TV.0 -

I'd hope most people are cool with putting a plug in the wall

If your PC and Xbox are in different rooms you would need a wireless router for your pc and an xbox wireless network adaptor which costs more I'm afraid0
