Sounds like a great weekend coming up....watch out Cardiff!!!!
What you doing in Blackpool tomorrow?0 -
Sea world and the pier and a quick stop in arcades!
The beach was hard work to get onto,(some blighter shut the gate and we walked all the way upto North Pier) but managed a donkey ride( not me personally) and i injured my leg in seaworld....Is all stiff now. Pah.
was a good day out and Blackpool never disappoints in its efforts to rip everyone off..
£2 for three darts on those card games,
they have also become more devious in arcades i notice too..
£3 for a go on the dodgems, same for the Wheel..a family would soon go through a large amount of dosh in no time..
and then the Gypsies were out in force selling lucky heather ( i told them i had already had bad luck today)
And the heavens opened on the way back.
That's me for today, skint and sore Bob.But we did enjoy the bits we did !Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Bob, HOW can you injure your leg in Seaworld? I could understand an excitable child doing something daft but.........
All a bit excited here......Vera is mostly packed ready for the Bug Jam weekend, just got huge coolbox ( polystyrene salmon box from fishmonger, very green and MSE!) full of BBQ meat, 1/2 price from one of my Butchers and then the wine and beer.
Rolo will need counselling as he is convinced he is coming with us....he's not! He is going to stay with his mates Guinness and Minnie ( our drinking buddies dogs)......but he has got a BIG, well v.small, surprise happening on Tuesday. We get a Westie/Jack Russel/Something Else Cross puppy:D, SHE is going to stay v.small judging by her parents so that should suit Rolo.
I'll try and get pics up asap.:D stay wonky
:D

You know I wondered that too - I have in my head an image of an over excited Bob jumping up and down wearing full Backadder type costume and insisting she should get to meet the seals! Hope you aren't in too much pain. x

Hello Bob (and others), just thought i'd drop you a line to see how you're doing, but it looks like you're suffering a bit (and not just because of Mr Bob this time).

Ah well, therein lies a tale. Yep i was overexcited and bent down to look at an interesting exhibit...unfortunately after my shenanigans at the weekend my leg was a bit bruised and stiff and sommat pinged inside.:o In all fairness it is the one that i had to have my kneecap straightened on, so i probably did a bit too much It only hurts when i kneel now, so won't be doing any housework that requires too much of that. ( Bonus in everything eh?;))
I am in early today because of a training meeting so can peruse for a few mins before i get paperwork in.:D
Totally jealous Pepe, have a good weekend at the bug jam, i was just going to put initials then thought better of it!:rotfl:
Skinty:p:rotfl:You probably weren't far off the mark.:rotfl:There was a Johnny Depp waxwork in the foyer and i wanted it...the bloke wouldn't let me though and my pupil kindly offered to rob it for me.:D:rotfl:
ISOM, 8 sleeps till meeting [STRIKE]tasting of wine[/STRIKE]:rotfl:I am very excited.
Hurroh George, nice to see you knocking about.:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Just ask Mr Bob for a massage and take it easy.

Only while at work, but as your shenanigans seem to have been curbed, doesn't look like i'm going to miss too much now.
Just ask Mr Bob for a massage and take it easy.
(Has he already offerred or was he too scared?):D
Honestly George, what makes you think i have curbed my shenanigans?:p:rotfl:
I wouldn't ask Mr.B for a massage. He might take that as a hint that he was in my good books and that would never do
I also think he may be scared...we have such a healthy relationship:rolleyes::rotfl:
Built on years of mutual indifference:cool:
Had to laugh last night as he was excusing his falling asleep on the couch as tiredness from working hard...i agreed and considering that he has had the same excuse for the past 20 years, then i am looking forward to the next excuse..his brain only works in 20 year slots( or he thinks i am a mug) probably a combination of the two:o
I am also now referred to as the missus or pet....
I would really lower the tone if i told you what i referred to him as..:D:rotfl:
So you see George, i have lots of material to fall back on if you think that i am being quiet.:D
Now back to the questions we all want answered.....Well i may wait for another day on that one;)
Just be aware that i am a good matchmaker ...for other folk that is:D:D:ABlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
