INK cartridges on Ebay

I have never used Ebay but the seller has a great feedback, nearly 100%.
I use HP No.21 cartridges for a PSC 1410 printer but the printer types mentioned for the ink are not thre same serial number although the cartridge is 21. And it's an excellent price.
Am I right in thinking that HP No.21 will do for a few of their printers?

Choice Stationery do free shipping and really good quality compatibles which are XL-sized, containing more ink e.g. 21ml vs 5ml for HP originals. I have used them for years. Here are the HP21's that you need (definitely the right type for you printer according to Choice's menu system):

Until Midnight on Monday they are doing 10% off their compatibles if you put code PC9436 into the checkout - http://www.choicestationery.co.uk/special_offer.asp0 -
If the ones for sale are No.21 then it's going to work, I've purchased loads off ebay for my HP printer and they work fine. The serial number I guess would be to identfy a batch of ink so no supprise if it's different

Jaffa, I thought the number (21) was the shape of the cartridge so it is possible that they have the same ones in more than one type of printer. Thank you anyway.0

Jaffa, The link BikerEd gave me was great re ease of use and price. I ordered a cartridge straight away (£6) and am looking forward to fitting it. I know that sounds a bit pathetic but I nearly bought a new printer except that the PC screen was telling me that it was a cable that was the problem. My grandson gave me one and it works now - except that it needs black ink! I love MSE and always get good advice.0
