Recycling laptop

Hi, have an old Dell laptop which had been wiped clean and given to my daughter but on starting up the screen is bust! Any ideas where it can be recycled and if anyone offers cash or trade in incentive?

Stick it on good old ebay, someone will be after parts.

If it just the display, and not a graphics problem, you can plug it into an external monitor and use it that way.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    Or get a new/used screen :D

Computers recyclers will charge you to take the laptop and then sell the parts or refurbish/resell it for profit.
I know this, I deal with a few of these places.
