Either no one knows or you're not being specific enough. A one line thread never gathers much interest.0

Homelet is just a company used by some smaller letting agents to run the basic credit checks and application processes. They will check your score against Callcredit, Experian and what ever the other main one is called.
It's no different than any other credit check, its just that Homelet will handle the basic background checks on before of the letting agent.I learned about debt the hard way and the best way0 -

Thankyou for your help. We were orginally told that the credit check takes seconds, then yesterday were told the whole process takes a week with homelet, do you know if this is true.Married 09/09/090 -
It's different for each application - if you have good credit it won't take long but if you don't you can expect it to take some time. It will also depend on how quick your references take to respond.
It took us about 4 days to get a response for myself and my partner.I learned about debt the hard way and the best way0 -

Thankyou for your help. Mine and my fiance credit is not good, we did tell them this. There is only a reference to get from my fiance employer, as the letting agents are my landlord. Hopefully they will have sent the reference thing to his employer and they will fax it back quickly.
Problem we have is i had to give my notice in yesterday for the house im renting now.Married 09/09/090 -
