Dunno if anyone here was affected but BT took some direct debits early this month and the MiL was one of them.
Anyway she then got a bounced direct debit which cost her £19 and now BT have admited it was their fault and that they will pay the charges (how very good of them, not).
So now BT think they have taken the money (£65) and then because they took it early they repay it into her bank, despite the fact it bounced and they never had it from the MiL anyway.
Soooo now BT send them a bill for £130 which is fair enough (£65 of the original bill and the £65 BT paid back to them) that was on Friday and guess what happened this morning???
Yes that's right the !!!!!!! eejits at BT cut them off (there is no fault we are redirecting you to us and you need to speak to us whenever you try to dial out) and to top it off guess what??
Yes that's right the [expletive] don't work weekends so she's now cut off till tomorrow at least and seeing as they don't have a debit card they'll be off till god knows when.
Anyone got the CEOs email address?
I'd like to fill them in on how they left an old lady with a serious heart condition with no phone over a weekend due to their MASSIVE !!!! up.
Totally unbelievable considering how much they charge you for not paying by DD then they do this!!!!
