Contents Insurance following Loss

Hi,

I've recently moved flats and didn't get a chance to get contents insurance sorted (stupid I know!). My flat got broken into the other night and now I really need to arrange insurance.

Clearly I won't be able to do this online now so any idea who the best insurer may be given the circumstances?

What exactly are you asking here? You can not take out insurance to cover an event that has already happened. If you want insurance going forward there is no reason you can't do this online or over the phone.

I want to arrange insurance going forward. Most online quotes I've looked at treat previous uninsured losses so you cannot do them online and i've never had contents insurance before.

So I'll need to phone some companies and wandering who might be best given the circumstances as don't want to spend all day on the phone.
