Holiday Near Girona, Spain

Good Morning all.

Its that time of year where I’m looking to book my holiday for me and my wife and after everyone helped me so well last year I thought I would ask for some advice.

We have a few options of where were going to go but the strongest option is Llfranc or Calella de Palafrugell in Spain near Girona. Only problem we have is finding somewhere to stay. Ideally we would like a Villa/apartment Pool if possible but not necessary. Also a good price always good any recommendations or advice would be a welcome help.

Were looking to go 15th – 22nd July although we could be flexible.

Both great places, but I'm afraid an apartment or villa (with or without a pool) will set you back quite a bit as you're heading into peak holiday season and it's an area popular with the French/Spanish/German holidaymakers too. Have you tried ownersdirect.co.uk ? I haven't used them before personally but family have and they have a few in Llafranc

https://www.portcalella.com has lots to choose from but sadly no prices so you would have to email them. https://www.finquesfrigola.com also have quite a lot but again you would need to email them for prices. If you are flexible on dates I would suggest asking them for prices for the earlier weeks of July as these might be a bit cheaper.

i had already emailed https://www.finquesfrigola.com and am waiting for a reply.. just going to look at the others now. any more suggestions would be useful

I can recommend the Muntanya Mar ( 4th one down ) as I stopped there in June last year.

Allthough Blanes is classed as a Commercial Town it is also a very good resort on its own with a marvelous tree lined prom near the harbour with loads of good resteraunts, good transport links and loads of cheap markets and supermarkets for the self caterer .

I do like the look of some of the apartments on https://www.finquesfrigola.com but i have emailed them twice and knowone replies. mind you a think i might have found an apartment in Calella de palafrugell which looks good.. anyone stayed there before?
