I've got some willow screening and I attached it to the fence posts using long cable ties... seems to have worked ok.
    TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!

Hmm it looked daft and we have pretty wide fence panels and couldnt get the ties through anyway..going to have to try and sell it as just looked odd as is quite soft as such and wouldn't stand straight! i can see the slight bit of wond taking it all off!
    Thanks anyway

the best method is to use fence staples............
the cheapest place to get them would be at your local hardware store.
1" staples should be enough to secure the fencing as you are just fixing to an already established structure.

I put up some brushwood fencing a few months back using this method and it looks fantastic.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
I would use a staple gun. The staples will rust, but that will camouflage them on the brush wood background.
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D

We used these U shaped nails to attach our bamboo screening.

We put ours up with a staple gun on the wooden fence and on the brickwork used those nail in thingys for holding wires to walls (not sure what they are called, in a little C shape).
The staples have not rusted for us and 1 1/2 years later it is still held in place perfectly.

What out for splinters though - when putting up the brushwood it can be very sharp!

Neighbour's bro. made frames and u-nailed them onto these, then nailed the frames to existing fenceposts. Used a 6' roll from Scotsdales, cut in half, to extend fence height[and guard my privacy]as Mr Dementia has been moved in nextdoor:mad:. It looks good, prevents him snooping and doesn't inhibit birdie landings.
