Not strictly true, as long as they have been declared and accepted by the Insurers and/or their medical screening agency and and any extra premium for 'loading' has been agreed and paid.

I do hope you've managed to sort something out about your holiday TrulyMadly....what an awful time it must be for you all, especially your DH.
Sadly neither of my parents is still alive, but it would never have occurred to me to factor in their health when I was buying holiday insurance. As they were both around 40 when I was born you can guarantee by time I was grown up they were getting on a bit too and both had chronic health problems.
(perhaps I'm wrong in assuming she wasn't meant to be coming with you?).
I was in a similar situation many years ago my Dad was very ill in hospital (heart probs) when we were due to go on holiday. We went and he lived another two years, but it's a very difficult situation to be in.:wave:0 -
This is a common exclusion, so it is wise to disclose, byt you dont always think about extended family when booking.0
