Can you have 2 Ebay accounts at same IP address?

My husband has an Ebay account which he uses regularly, mostly for buying but occasionally for selling. I would like to open an account to sell my own stuff, but is there any rule about not having more than one account at the same address?

You can have as many accounts as you want as long as they don't interact with each other.
For a start I recommend everyone has at least two, one for buying and one for selling, never do the two on the same accounts
You can also link up to 8 ebay accounts to the same paypal account.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks! Out of interest, why don't you recommend buying and selling from the same account?Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

There are a number of reasons, in the good old days when sellers could leave negative feedback, it was best to have a seperate buying account as then you could leave honest feedback for problem transactions without thinking that a retaliatory neg would impact on your selling.
That's no longer an issue, but there are still good reasons to do it, one is that if you buy something cheaply because it's been mis-described or badly listed, and then re-list it to make a profit, you don't want people to see how much you gave for it from your feedback.0 -
and if a seller has messed up and you leave a neg, they might decide to buy one of your items and leave a neg and generally be a pain in the buttUndergrad law student. Take my advice with a pinch of salt! :rotfl:0
