    My parents still have one of the plastic ones and it's still used regularly-37 years old apparently!
    Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!

    I remember these,they used to have loads of slimy potato in them when you had to wash it out afterwards.Very messy.
    I just use a brush and scrub any dirt off and sometimes the skin and then just boil the potatoes the way they are.
    Taste just as good if not better.

    I just rub them gently with my fingers under water,at the price of new jersey spuds I am going to eat everything but the dirt on them
