Popped into the local Charity Shop to have a browse and good rummage around when I heard a stern voice….”Mr. GreenFingers the mens clothes are on that rack over there”… “Oh… er…yes of course” says I sheepishly putting the really gorgeous summery frock back on the rack… hee hee
.....
Scurrying past the local Crack Den I popped into the Co-Op for some bits and pieces… how wonderful…. £5.16... for lots of goodies then off to the really nice coffee shop for a Super Large Percolated Scrummy Coffee and a read of the freebie papers…. Hooray….

Get well soon Lookingahead - and "cheese" SS !!!
Back on the wagon here today too - although I may well be buying the slate for our garden. A bit of canny shopping around and the near £100 for top quality slate is now about £20 for smaller bits - but as long as the garden's finished so it looks nice and sale-able, then it doesn't matter I don't think. Had the new Makro magazine through today too, and it has a dining table and chairs set (glass table, four chairs) for £50, which I think we may discuss tonight. Partly because we need a new table and partly again to make the house look lovely to potential purchasers .. .still that's tomorrow's spending ... so, possibly £20, possibly nothing (fingers crossed!)Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 002 :rotfl:0 -
Thanks Fairylights

No-spend day today!
Can't be too proud though because yesterday as it was my birthday I bought my lunch at work and tomorrow I'm spending a lot of money on going to a recording studio (it's coming from my birthday money though, so I guess it's alright... isn't it?)
