One of the keys on my keyboard has become very difficult to use. I will give you a sample.........
"I need echie help o fix his .hanks"
If I press it firmly in the RH bottom corner it works?
How do I get it fixed? Sony Vaio - if that is relevant.
Thanks

Under warranty?
If not you can lever the key off and remove any crap from underneath.
But it's the actually a failure, you need a new keypad.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Can you get new keypads for laptops?0

Do you eat when you're typing? You might have a large crumb lodged under the key. Prise the key off and remove it or use a hoover with a brush attachment and lightly hoover the keys to remove crumbs, fluff etc from between the keysThere are many things I'd like to say to you, but I don't how...0

I had one of my keys that wouldnt work and just pulled it off ,cleaned what was underneath it and pushed it back on . My laptop is Dell .But look on Google on how to take off keys0

Yep - and they're quite easy to replace. Can you get new keypads for laptops?
I had a problem with several keys not working (I spilt the coffee - can't blame the kids!). I tried to clean under the individual keys by prising them off but this didn't solve the problem. I found a replacement keyboard online for £18.99 plus p&p. Took the old keyboard out, cleaned out the gunge and connected up the new keyboard, have had no problems since. As I'm certainly no techie I feel rather pleased with myself.;)0 -
I am the only user of this laptop and I never eat whilst using it! I will google for key removal.
