Southern scouser - I've been watching your total debt go down and I'm cheering you on all the way here, I'm looking forward to celebrating your sub30k mark with you soon!
Many thanks for all your comments guys it means a lot.
I got some more good news today, I learnt that I've been accepted for a platinum amex credit card (DH already has one) so I can tart my egg and mbna 0% balances that end very soon. It will mean I will have to start paying interest but it will be 4.9% APR life of balance.Debtfree JUNE 2008 - Thank you MSE:T0 -

COngrats! I've just phoned them to find out my credit limit - it's going to be £6400 about £600 short but I think I'll keep the MBNA until July when the 0% runs out then BT it, hopefully by then balance will be low enough to transfer onto the Amex.Debtfree JUNE 2008 - Thank you MSE:T0

After 2-3 months phone them and ask if you can increase your limit, if you have paid on time they usually will.Debtfree JUNE 2008 - Thank you MSE:T0

That's brilliant - well done! :T
To achieve it so quick is amazing - and inspiring and motivating to someone like me who's new around here!
Wishing you all the best to the next milestone.Back on the DFW Wagon:
CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019

That's fantastic - well done!, I've just posted off a few cheques today which will take my debt to under 15k...can't wait to check my CC balances in a few days once the cheques have cleared and add up my debt total - a big phsycological boost!
We are heading in the right direction!! I'm taking it a grand at a time...next target - below 14k!0
