Worried about reclaiming bank charges

Hi,

I want to reclaim my bank charges, as quite frankly charging me £25 for going 10p overdrawn is completel shocking!!

But im worried about the implications with my bank - ie they may get funny with me! I have a £750 overdraft with them which I have used. Im worried that if I start the process of reclaiming they may want it all back and want to close my account!

Can they do that??

Well, if they start telling jokes to you please can you write them down and post them on here ;)

They can't close your account as they are not allowed to under the FSA Waiver on bank charges.

I have a current account with A & L. They charge £5 per day for every day you go over your limit and £25 "Payment Review Fee" for bouncing payments.

In their terms it says as follows:

    Overdraft fees

These may change from time to time.
Overdraft Usage Fee 50p a day for no more than 10 days in each monthly charging period (up to £5)
Exceeding Overdraft Limit Fee £5 a day for no more than 20 days in each monthly charging period
Payment Review Fee £25 for each item

Am I able to reclaim these, as their wording seems to be a very fancy and canniving way of getting out of doing so, by calling them account fees.

    Can you please advise?
    Thanks
Total Reclaimed from banks and credit cards so far: £14139 :T
    Amount outstanding £550
