Ive just had my 2nd fault accident in the same period, the latest one probably writing off my car. Im with Direct Line and have 5 years (no claims protected) due to be renewed in the next month or so.
What will happen to my NCD, and will i lose it all?
thanks

If you have the 2 in 5 year option, you'll lose 2 years of your no claims discount on the third claim. Your first two claims don't lower your no claims discount.0

i think it says for the NCD protection is no more than 2 claims in any 3 consecutive years of cover, and no more than 1 in any period of cover.
I will have 2 fault claims in the last month or two ( one period of cover) so does that mean i lose 2 years?

If that's what it says, yes.0
