Morning all, congrats to all the DD and DS getting results and happy parents on the board. I can remember getting mine.........

£10 towards halicrap CC for me today. Really have to get down to the bank to put a cheq in so I can PAD taht too

Right after all the excitement I have now done my usual scratchies banking etc.

PAD is £33.60 to the card fund some mystery shopping money and some bingo winnings.

Won £5 again yesterday on bingo so am doing OK but it is time consumingso I know what you mean Terri glad you are back not a mega post then. Sorry to hear things are tough will definitely ask OH to put a word in with him upstairs.

Just emptied my purse from yesterdays budget (I've allocated myself £10 a day, I leave my cards at home and that's all I can have when I'm out and about) and I found I had some money left.

So my second pad for today is £1.80.

Well done again to all those proud mums with their children's A level results. :j

His dad has just sneakily posted his card through the door and shot off - how bad is that???? Never bothered to knock!! :mad: silly man!!! I'm sure ds would rather his dad give it to him face to face!!!


Weather here's not too bad but very windy! washing is out and another load in - don't you just love days off??

A little old lady answered a knock on the door one day, only to be
confronted by a well-dressed young man carrying a vacuum cleaner.

Good morning,' said the young man. 'If I could take a couple of minutes of
your time, I would like to demonstrate the very latest in high-powered
vacuum cleaners.'

'Go away!' said the old lady. 'I'm broke and haven't got any money!'
and she proceeded to close the door. Quick as a flash, the young man wedged his foot in the door and pushed it wide open. 'Don't be too hasty! he said.
'Not until you have at least seen my demonstration. '

And with that, he emptied a bucket of horse manure onto her hallway carpet.

'If this vacuum cleaner does not remove all traces of this horse manure from your carpet, Madam, I will personally eat the remainder.'

The old lady stepped back and said, 'Well let me get you a fork,'cause they cut off my electricity this morning.' :rotfl::rotfl:

Well done to all those padders whose kids did well, I was so proud of my lot! (not my real kids obviously...) My Graphics kids came out (just for that subject) with 3 A's, 6 B's 2 C's and 5 D's - nobody got lower than that! So proud of them!

Just popped back on really to report a loss of ***2lb*** despite the pizza :cool: so I'm very happy with that.
