Just emptied my purse from yesterdays budget (I've allocated myself £10 a day, I leave my cards at home and that's all I can have when I'm out and about) and I found I had some money left.
So my second pad for today is £1.80.
Well done again to all those proud mums with their children's A level results. :j'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.'
Proud Mummy to two gorgeous miracles.:j0 -
Morning all  and nice to see you back Terri - will keep my fingers crossed you win the euro tomorrow and I wouldn't mind winning it myself
DS4 is so excited it's his birthday he's still in bed asleep!!! lazy git:rotfl:
His dad has just sneakily posted his card through the door and shot off - how bad is that???? Never bothered to knock!! silly man!!! I'm sure ds would rather his dad give it to him face to face!!!
Weather here's not too bad but very windy! washing is out and another load in - don't you just love days off??
A little old lady answered a knock on the door one day, only to be
confronted by a well-dressed young man carrying a vacuum cleaner.
Good morning,' said the young man. 'If I could take a couple of minutes of
your time, I would like to demonstrate the very latest in high-powered
vacuum cleaners.'
'Go away!' said the old lady. 'I'm broke and haven't got any money!'
and she proceeded to close the door. Quick as a flash, the young man wedged his foot in the door and pushed it wide open. 'Don't be too hasty! he said.
'Not until you have at least seen my demonstration. '
And with that, he emptied a bucket of horse manure onto her hallway carpet.
'If this vacuum cleaner does not remove all traces of this horse manure from your carpet, Madam, I will personally eat the remainder.'
The old lady stepped back and said, 'Well let me get you a fork,'cause they cut off my electricity this morning.' :rotfl::rotfl:
Well done on yesterday's total - thanks mainly to Terri :T and thanks Mac for the adding up :T
Pad today is £20 to kays and 19p to copper jar

Well done to all those padders whose kids did well, I was so proud of my lot! (not my real kids obviously...) My Graphics kids came out (just for that subject) with 3 A's, 6 B's 2 C's and 5 D's - nobody got lower than that! So proud of them!
Just popped back on really to report a loss of ***2lb*** despite the pizza  so I'm very happy with that.
See ya soon everyone xxThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -
