HAPPY BIRTHDAY
£2.80 to halifax0 -
Second PaD today - 27p. Last of the big spenders, me! But, if I can manage a pound a day from now until my wedding day, that'll boost the wedding fund considerably!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0

Hi all.
I was PADding like mad a few months ago but stuff happened and I was unable to come on the web regularly and my debts didn't go anywhere (not bigger, phew, but not smaller either). Can I please rejoin? Am in need of some motivation, really want to be debt free in 2 years.Too ashamed to admit how much I owe!!0 -

Hi there - Good luck :-)
I didn't want to put my debt amount on (hate the D word, I hardly ever say it) my signature but I totally find it helps motivate me as I need to see it come down. Give it a try if you're in need of motivation ;-)
look forward to seeing your posts.

A single guy decided life would be more fun if he had a pet.
So he went to the pet store and told the owner that he wanted to buy an unusual pet.
After some discussion, he finally bought a talking centipede,
(100-legged bug), which came in a little white box to use for his house.
He took the box back home, found a good spot for the box, and decided he would start off by taking his new pet to church with him.
So he asked the centipede in the box,
"Would you like to go to church with me today? We will have a good time."
But there was no answer from his new pet.
This bothered him a bit, but he waited a few minutes and then asked
again, "How about going to church with me and receive blessings?"
But again, there was no answer from his new friend and pet.
So he waited a few minutes more, thinking about the situation.
The guy decided to invite the centipede one last time.
This time he put his face up against the centipede's house and shouted,
"Hey, in there! Would you like to go to church with me and learn about God?"
This time, a little voice came out of the box,
"I heard you the first time! I'm putting on my shoes!"
Pad today is £2 to cap1 cc, 40p to sealed tin and 8p to copper jar

Very good.
I thought the punch line was going to be something about crucifixion (ran out of nails or something daft like that).0 -

:hello: Hello Everyone! :hello:
Thanks so much for all the lovely birthday wishes
Thanks to Jo and DT for the cake baking (just had a couple of "slabs":D)!
And of course - thanks Andy for posting my most embarrassing moment once again :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Well had a nice day - considering I was at work, but got loads of nice pressies and flowers and cakes!
Plus I was lucky enough to be given a few quid £60 to be exact and I'm going to PAD that.
Well, I feel renewed - new year - new start! I'm DETERMINED to get rid of this debt sooner rather than later. I'm 40 next year and I really want it gone before then.
I've been reading some of the debt diaries and am inspired.
Think I might have to start calling myself macBINT though - "Girl" is pushing it slightly0 -
