Awwwww all this talk of holidays is getting me jealous
Does anyone want to take me with them?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Cant afford a holiday this year despite having planned for one, I guess we could maybe JUST stretch to it but it would mean that all the hard work his year was undone and frankly, if I pad like crazy ill be DF by xmas and then I can take hubby and all the kids somewhere hot and relaxing.
Think of us while youre sunbathing

We're off on hols this year too, and things will be tight... We're going to the in-laws caravan in Devon, but because its the last year they may have it (and last year of cheaper hols
) we kinda have to go, because I don't know when we'll be able to afford to go again.... have got £160 saved already, but that will go on hiring a car - OH's DS will be coming with us and there's not enough room for the 4 of us in my old 306
I knwo what you mean frasersmum about not wanting to worry about money while on holiday.... sadly OH doesn't, so by default the job falls to me

Hi All,
PaD for me of £8.67 please DT.
Doesn't look as if I will get away on holiday this year. I'm on a temp contract so I don't have the hols to be able to take a full week off. Oh well, at least I managed a couple of long weekends as a break earlier in he year. My contract runs out in September so I may have time on my hands there...
Can't complain though. Padding means that I can clear my CC in full each month so I'll keep that up so when I get an opportunity for a hol I can grab it with both hands!
I'm off to print some vouchers for meals out so at least I can have some decent grub after working my butt off!0 -
Have to post and run!

hello all,
I am still padding even tho I just in an ocd type fashion pay into saving account, so that the balance in my current acc is a round number.......yes sad I know. I make sure I pay a pound a day(topping up if neccessary) and when the money gets to over a hundred pound I pay it on to my CC card along with my Quidco money. Its helped loads. this month so far its been 10.75.
just wanted to say thank you again! its great xxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -

Hi all, another 50p to Barclaycard today. Not up to much apart from worrying about starting my new job tomorrow.
Yes , my furries are spoiled with their lair - they also have about 5 beds around the room, including one chair that we never sit in because it 'belongs' to the cats. :rotfl:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Hi to everyone else, and sorry if I've missed any big news or card clearing...decided to have a day away from computer screens yesterday, sick of the sight of them after another stooopid manic week at work.
Went for a HUGE 8 mile walk along the Thames in West London yesterday. Very relaxing. I whinge about busy London sometimes but its amazing how much stuff I still haven't seen or done or discovered after 9 years down here. I did a PAD over the phone banking for £10 whilst eating an ice-cream at Kew! The weather held until about 5pm, then had GBK. Yum. Today's PAD is my old Egg payment for a snowball - £50 - plus an extra £6.
TOTAL PAD £66 please DT.
Hope everyone has had a good weekend...Debt Free 25th August 2010 with PAD !!TARGETS ::D
