I dont have an official job other than being Mum and its sooo tricky trying to get 2 mins on here :rotfl:

Ok tmobile refund received so sending £19.35 to Platinum today.

Terri: that post was huge!.Thanks for asking, I got dd1 a skirt and vest top and just a top for other dd all for less than £20 so please with myself on that :D

I just got back from taking dd1 to the hospital and then dropping her at school, everything has been plodding on nicely with her condition for years and suddenly today we were hit with the news that DD (11) is having her huge growth spurt now and should stop growing before shes 12, they think she'll be lucky to reach 5ft 2 and bless her shes so upset about it.
Her Dad and I are both 5ft 7 so shes got it into her head shes going to be vertically challenged and all her classmates are going to tower over her.

Shes back again there in Dec so fingers crossed the outlook might be a bit better by then

Hugs to everyone in need, sop sorry I havnt had time to post much but im reading daily and thinking of you all

    Thanks Glowie.

They are just....grrrrrr! They sent me an email at 3.30pm yesterday with a very long and complicated request about setting up a benefits plan in Denmark. Oh yes, and they wanted an answer within 3 hours! Not possible, so I advised them of this and told them that we would aim to provide the answer by this morning / afternoon.

This morning, I had another email, asking it was possible to respond by 11am. So I called our Danish colleagues, and as the usual contact there is on holiday, they need to look into the back history etc and so cannot respond until this afternoon at the earliest.

I called the client, and this wasn't acceptable to them. He was sooo rude to me! Told me that people in his team cover each other's work during holidays (which is laughable in itself as they often don't respond to our emails for weeks or months, if at all!). I said that they do of course, do the same in Denmark, but because they don't usually work on the client, it will take them longer, and that, because of the size of the original request, even if the usual contact wasn't on holiday, it would still take some time to respond.

Well, he says, you're always asking us to do things last minute, telling us to pay bills for Italy with only a day's notice (again, untrue as we email them and call them for weeks beforehand and they ignore it until the last minute!). I let that one slide. He said, 'I'm the client, i'm paying for this service and I don't think it's any good, you haven't heard the last of this, I'm very unhappy'.

So, I offered to set up a call later today to discuss the issues, work through them and find a solution. No, he doesn't want to talk about it and hung up the phone on me!

    A*rsehole!

Anyway, we've answered the original question now, and my manager is going to call the client this afternoon to discuss it. I put all the details of the call in an email to her straightaway so that there is a record of it and it is easy for her to refer to during the call.

Personally, I think his team sat on the question for weeks and then he was getting grief from above and just took it out on me.

I'm OK now, got a giant double choc chip cookie! And......my uncle has agreed to let me and the OH stay with him during our visit to Abu Dhabi later this year :)

    YAY! Holiday! :)

    xx

This has happened to me several times now. What I now do with a longer post is highlight what I've just written and select COPY. If it fails to post, at least I can paste it in again.

Thanks for that Paul I will do that next time. Although I am keeping up with the totals I am way behind with replying to posts sorry folks I have read them but due to various computer problems this week posting has been difficult and I had replied to you all last night before the fault happened and swallowed my post. I think all the recent changes must have made the forums a bit unstable:confused:

    The total for yesterday

8th July was £1447.43 you really rock folks dank u wel :T (if I have remembered it properly:rotfl:)

Hmm having a bit of a carp day today.......first of all; put weight ON this week  - sorry Danko butonly to be expected given the amounts of stuff I've eaten:rolleyes:

and then - just checked LLoyds cc & because I didn't get to the bank to pay the big payment, they've added on £177 interest :mad::mad: I suppose TBH they would have done that anyway, despite me calling & asking exactly how much would be needed to clear the account.....still, not a happy bunny.

and then DD18 hurt her back & she is supposed to be going to Blackpool tomorrow for the weekend - just heard that the friend she is going with, has gone to hospital to have an eye infection seen to :eek: , she had to get the train as her dads car has broken down, weather is vile today - rain bouncing down on greenhouse, chickens gone back to bed as they were stood in mud.....

    so today I have to:

    - get PAD made at bank somehow
    - take DD to chemist to get some back improvers/painkillers
    - take her to get some party stuff (for the trip, its a birthday do)
    - then make brownies for the birthday girl (not certain DD will be any use there)

    Things can only get better:rotfl:
