Well its another scorcher here today already and its supposed to be DS1's sports day, but I am being naughty and letting his stay at home. The school wont cancel it, they are not allowed to take drinks on the field and have no shade, plus its going on for over 2 hours.

I don't blame you for keeping him home. That's a shocking way to look after kids in this heat. Schools have a duty of care and sitting kids in this heat without shade or drinks is not meeting that. Ooops i'm ranting, sorry..can you imagine what i'd be like if it was my child
Morning DT :hello: here's my PaD:
£1.50 vicious vanquis
£1.50 savings

Hi All,
No payments from me as yet. My Euro's are now pounds, but I changed the collection date for my loan the month before last (to make sure the funds were there on time!) and I know the date is very early in the month but can't remember which......mmmmmm. I think it is either 3rd or 5th. Not entirely sure.
And, VCC don't generate a statement until 3rd of each month so there will be no payment to that until they do. Otherwise there will be no funds to meet the minimum payment requirement. I really hate the way they have that set up. It caught me out once, when I first got the card and I swear they do it on purpose as they refuse to change the dates!
The phone bill for Orange will also be collected in a few days. Then there will be a final bill mid month and it's gone!!! Wahooooo! I couldn't afford to end the contract early, so have just been waiting it out.
OK, I'm rambling. Mainly because I feel wonderful today, in comparison to yesterday, and am full of beans again!
I did a shop online earlier this week which is being delivered on SaturdayYummy, yummy food. And, the idea is that it will last us the rest of the month. Apart from milk and bread of course. We have a tiny amount of freezer space so I am doing the best I can with what I have
And......tonight, the OH and I are buying an aircon unit! Well, he's buying, I'm coming along mainly to help carry it home! hahahaha. It's a fairly cheap one and desparately needed. It isn't dropping below 24 degrees at night, indoors. And yesterday, it was 30 degrees when we got home! Far too hot!
Soooo, he's investing in the aircon.I can't wait! lol
Have a good day all xFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
