I've recently bought a cd which turns out to be copy protected. Is there any way in which I could burn this onto my Ipod?

There are ways and means. If your soundcard has sufficient ins and outs you may be able to loop from your stereo (or even dvd drive) and record it as a straight new mp3. Only ever tried it myself with a top of the range soundcard though.0

And they wonder why people use file sharing.......
If it plays on your PC it can be copied easily. Does it?“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

AnyDVD (despite the name) will also unprotect CD's. Check out https://www.slysoft.comStarting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j

Sadly not. It seems ot play ok but I don't get any sound.0 -
You say it plays ok, but no sound? So it does not play?
Anyway, I tend to use Windac32 or Winamp, ive never had trouble ripping CD audio to WAV files with those.... It's then just a case of converting to MP3 with a suitable application.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
