It could be the quality of your line.
Best way to test is to plug in your PC to your modem and then straight into the MASTER socket and test, are you able to do this?0 -
unplug all phones except the main one...change the filter - try again...add 1 hpone/filter at a time until you know which is borkedUtinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0

Could it be a faulty filter? Taking the advice above would probably detect that anyway.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0

Are you sure every socket and extension has a filter?
Line noise and attenuation stats are available in the routers status pages (web based interface).
A low noise margin would be my guess.
Noise margin = basically the amount of noise that would be needed to affect your connection.
(yes I know that's not technically correct, but im trying not to confuse people here)
Anyway, check it out.... Low is bad!“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Just to echo the advise above, try unplugging everything and then try putting them back in one at a time. If it's only started recently my guess would be a faulty filter - they do break!

If you've got a Sky box connected to the line, that needs filtering too. People tend to forget that one.No free lunch, and no free laptop
