Sorry if this is the wrong area to post but I cannot see what forum area its meant to be placed in.I posted in my local moneysaving area but no replies so hope someone here can help.
Just wondered if anyone can suggest a good company to deal with to start a compensation claim for an injury.I am in east ayrshire, scotland so someone local would be best I think.
Everyone, family, said at the time I should have claimed but I just said it was fine,I would heal.In fact I was just told last week by a doctor after I visted again to ask for help and also ask why I wasn,t healing properly that it would be something I would just have to cope with now and it will cause me problems for the rest of my life, basically there nothing they can do.
Recomendations appreciated,thank you.
I think I am within time limits for starting a claim?,it happened dec 2007 so less than 1 1/2 years ago.

I believe you have 3 years to make a claim, providing you sought medical treatment at the time. There is no such thing as a free lunch. Its only free because you've paid for it.
Noone can have everything they want and the sooner you learn that the better.

It was 6 weeks before I went to the doctor because it was that long before the bruising had gone enough for me to see there was a problem other than bruising.
I got a call from national accident helpline but its not the sort of thing they deal with.Anyone else I could contact?"Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0 -
Hi, There are loads of solicitors who could deal with your claim. Corries in Glasgow deal with a lot of this sort of thing http://www.corries.co.uk/ or if you want someone more local go to http://www.lawscot.org.uk/find/ and put in your postcode and choose Litigation - Accidents... from the drop down menu and that should give you loads of options. Your solicitor will be able to tell you from an early stage whether you have a claim or not and if they can take it on a "no win no fee" type basis.
Good luck with it, PM me if you want any more info.
