hi, ive had their home max package for nearly 2 years and get the £9 discount from my mobile contract,
i upgraded the other month and a few days after i got a call from their CS asking if i was happy, they told me i wasn't getting the discount i should be,
i told them im paying £15 instead of the £24 but they insisted i wasn't,
last month i got a credit for a couple of £s and this month its gone down to £6!
do they reduce it further in the new contract or have they made a mistake?
dont know if to say anything to them, its a bargain at £15 never mind £6 p/m
but dont want them in 12 months to say i owe them £100+

Why not open a separate savings account with the highest interest rate you can find (2.5% will probably be the best you can achieve at the moment) and deposit the £9 per month (or £18 if you can afford it) in that?
Then, if they do suddenly realise their error and ask for the money, you'll have it (and a bit more) immediately available.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
ta, good idea.
