Flat roof insulation?

Hi Guys

Over winter our utility roof was always very cold, it has a slab concrete flat roof with no insulation at all. The heat just goes straight up and out.

How can we insulate this roof in preperation for winter?

Cheers
John

Do you have room inside, what is the ceiling made of and how high. Alternatively You can have external insulation (3") with overcoat of Liquid Rubber on the top. The heat you create will still have to warm up the concrete roof as now, but it will go no further.

The polystyrene tiles will provide insulation. I don't see how any additional insulation will help.
