Halifax overdraft charges - not informed

Hi, just wondering what people think I should do in this situation....
Basically the Halifax phoned me in march telling me to come in as my current account that I've held for over 10 years was ceasing to exist. They swapped me over to a new current account which they said was similar to my own but more updated and that my overdraft would still be included. What they neglected to mention is that for everyday I use my overdraft, I get charged £1. I occasionally use my overdraft, its always in unexpected situations like having to have emergency work done on my car and the charges in the past have always been very small.
I would not have agreed to this new account if I knew the charges...opened a bank statement this morning and have been charged £15 for last month as due to car work went £100 into my over draft for 15 days. Previously, my charge would have been between £1-2 for this happening. I'm cross as they did not tell me this when they changed my account, nor have they sent me any details about the new account which I assumed worked on the same principles as the old one.
Do you think I have a right to complain about this?
Thanks

I do on the basis that they didn't tell you about this and therefore didn't give you the opportunity to look around for either (a) another bank to go to or (b) another account to use within the same bank.0
