Please help with this if you can - I have booked flights with Ryanair but find I am unable to travel. Can I reclaim taxes etc - these are worth more than the cost of the flights.

You can reclaim the taxes on your flight, just e-mail the customer service dept, with Easyjet it was a fairly simple process, but Ryainair are pretty poor at giving refunds0

no this is one of the drawbacks of the low cost flight operators can you get someone to go in your place as this will only incur a admin charge to change the names you could try advertising the flights to try to recoup some of your costs good luck0

While easyJet are one of the best airlines for returning tax, Ryanair are the complete opposite. While, legally, they’re supposed to return the tax part, there’s an admin fee. For easyJet, it’s very reasonably – about £5 in total, I think. When Ryanair used to put the amount of the fee on their website, it was always more than any tax that could have been paid. They’ve since removed the exact amount from their website, but still expect to get nothing.Tom_Jones wrote:You can reclaim the taxes on your flight, just e-mail the customer service dept, with Easyjet it was a fairly simple process, but Ryainair are pretty poor at giving refunds古池や蛙飛込む水の音0 -
