Paypal undercharged me !!! What next?

Hi People,

Amazingly PayPal has made a mistake again, BUT this time they have left me with more than i expected.
I bought some electronics to the value of £180 at the beginning of the week, i never thought any more of it until my other half mentioned today that the money hadn't come off. So i looked into it and paypal have only taken £8.61 from my account.

So now i'm left wondering what will happen next? Will they catch on to this mistake and charge me the rest later or ??

Any help/info much appreciated

  • I'm sure they'll probably figure out what happened and charge you later. Be prepared for the rest to just come out of your account.
Sorry i'm not much help, never heard of this happening before.

Paypal don't charge you, you actually pay so you paid too little. The seller or shop will no doubt be asking you to pay the additional amount any time now.

Has the rest come from a different account? You don't say whether it's come from your bank account, credit card, or whatever?

Did you have a paypal balance? it would use that first then fund the rest elsewhere.

You were right, it came off today. Bit of a strange one though, 5days later the whole amount came off.

    Thanks for your help guys:beer:
