Hey guys,
As posted a long time ago I have acquired some Cheerio Coupons, they are validated till August 2010 and all original cut off the back of the boxes!
I was thinking about putting them on ebay as they are no good to me anymore, but thought I would offer them up on here first incase any of you guys could make use?!!
Really not sure bout how much i want, but theres like roughly £98 worth in total at 40p a bash!
Cheers guys!0 -
Shock, horror - I didn't go to Tesco today!
Went to work, then out for lunch with my OH and DS1 at Pizza Express (using Deals of course).
Then popped into Asda for a change, looking for DVDs (they have some not stocked by my local Tesco) for DS2's birthday and Father's Day. Spent £25 and the girl said I could use 10% in coupons so I handed over a £3 Finish one which scanned fine.
Then later popped to Waitrose, lovely young lad at the till gave me 2p change for my fiver of coupons! I had added up my shopping to just exceed a fiver, as I knew which 3 mocs I wanted to use. But the price was lower on something so the total was only £4.98.
I said, 'oh dear, I was planning on using £5 in coupons, I will have to quickly buy some sweets or something to get the total higher...' Nice lad said 'oh you're a coupon shopper, don't worry, I am sure I can put them through somehow'. Then he manually entered 'coupons £4.98' which the till accepted, took my fiver in mocs and insisted on giving me 2p change as they could claim the full fiver back!:rotfl:
Not the sort of customer service I am used to at Tesco. Are there no trouts in Waitys?!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

OMG our coupon-chatter has already reached 46 pages...and this thread was only started afresh a week ago! :rotfl:
Does anyone recall those lovely Tuborg Couponstar printables last year that accidentally let you print several (lots!) before you got the 'print limit reached' message? Well I just found this 'success report' about that campaign when Googling:
http://www.couponstar.com/press/press2009/24Feb09.php
Apparently there was a fantastically high redemption rate for that coupon - around 25% that were printed were redeemed (I think the industry norm has been reported before at around only 5%). I wonder why this coupon campaign had such a high take-up rate??!! :rotfl:
But that also means 75% of people who printed the moc then threw it away or left it in a kitchen drawer. Silly silly silly...just the sort of thing I used to do about 3 years ago...:oPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
