1st of all thanks as usual to Lori for continuing to update the 1st page and for all her hard work in doing it, and to VC for the techie posts which will be a great help to many :T

Just back from Mr T's, and thankful to say that we weren't trouted and everything was fine. Got to checkout and was picking my SA - 2 look quite similar and I have been to both before - 1 I remember takes everything and will use the handscanner if need be - the other will only use the main scanner - of course I picked the wrong one - but at least the majority of my coupons scan - so don't consider that to be too much of a problem. If only I could remember faces better - wonder if I could sneakily take photos of all the SAs:D.

My daughter takes a sneaky picture of the cashiers that are good and the ones to avoid to show her boyfriend who to go to and who not to go to!

Yesterday, I posted on the Newspaper thread that there was a 45p coupon off the Star Magazine in the Daily Star Newspaper.

Unfortunately it would not scan at Tesco today unless the magazine was purchased. Upon inspection, the first section of the bar code did appear the same as the blocked OK coupons, and must be blocked at this level.

Sorry everyone who thought they could use.

So, I wont be attempting to use again!

Good plan PC but as an alternative perhaps either Bluewkd or madmuppet could use their early posts in the thread to keep any new/ended/overflow in the same vein as Lori then when she comes back it will already be setup and she can just copy the info from the appropriate post into hers? (VC also has a post early but there may not be enough space...)

There's no decision to be made about this one, Tesco have had their policy about conditional spends for years and years and years, it hasn't changed.

If you get turned down refer it up the line at your store. If they say they don't take them because there is no Waitrose nearby, they are wrong! If you're brave, show them the coupon policy wording email (above) and explain that proximity of the competitor is not an issue, all Tesco are supposed to take these vouchers regardless. Smile politely but be persistent and confident.

Finally don't bin them (Dr Who-Who take note!:D).

:rotfl: thats me!!! doh... So far am collecting £28.80 coupons (incl today's Sunday Times £10 coupon valid till 14/6) yahoo..... but the down side is I have to spend 60 squid! before 14/6. My freezer is very full. Think I better get more Bold w/machine liq since I am down to 8 bottles now :A
