Hi guys,

Thanks for the new thread guys getting really hooked on this site at the minute so luv reading new posts!

My question is I have saved all the re-printable coupons to word documents, to make them easier to print and get more to a page to save on paper etc!

A fair share of my coupons scan using either the scanner or the SA hand gun, but there are some that always won't, they have no problem in entering the number it's just i would prefer them to scan so i can be in and out as quick as possible! (I still go red lol).

So would anyone have any CIF, Cow and Gate, Goodness Shakes coupons saved to a format that actually scan everytime! Thanks in advance.

Don't save to Word. Save to your My Documents. Open in your My Documents and use the Snapshot Tool. They print crystal clear and save ink and paper :D
Life is like a toilet roll. ;) The nearer you are to the end, the faster it goes :D

just had an email back from mrt's , i asked what the coupon policy was at my local store as they say they only accept 1 coupon max :p

Dear Karl

Thank you for your email.

I appreciate you enquiring us about our internet coupon policy.

I would like to inform you that I've listed our coupon policy for you:

• Customers can use branded coupons without buying the product if Tesco stocks the product and the coupon is in date.

• Only one branded coupon can be accepted per item not purchased.

• Customers can pay for all of their shopping using different branded coupons as long as the conditions above have been met.

• If two branded coupons are presented, the customer needs to have bought one of the products.

• We do not accept competitor product coupons, e.g. ASDA coupon 50 pence off a bottle of Coke.

• We do accept conditional spend coupons from competitors e.g. Sainsbury £3.00 off when you spend £30:00 or more.

• We do accept internet coupons which must be accepted on the same terms and conditions as above.

• Photocopies cannot be accepted.

• We accept supplier coupons without a barcode as long as they are in date and Tesco stock the product.

• We do not accept damaged, copied or defaced coupons.

• If coupons do not scan, the barcode needs to be manually entered, if everything else matches.

• The Store Manager has the discretion to refuse coupons if he/she believes a customer is abusing the policy.

I hope this information helps and thank you for contacting us. If I can help further, please just let me know.

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us at customer.service@tesco.co.uk quoting
Kind Regards

Anyone know if tesco will be accepting the £10 waitrose voucher in the times?we havent got a waitrose anywhere near local tesco.

There's no decision to be made about this one, Tesco have had their policy about conditional spends for years and years and years, it hasn't changed.

The wording of the coupon policy is similar to the email quoted above, in fact the policy sent to stores says 'we accept conditional spend vouchers from ALL MAJOR SUPERMARKETS'.

There is NO store discretion on these (unlike the main coupon policy where there is discretion on internet mocs and further discretion if a store has suffered coupon abuse). There is NO requirement at all for the competitor store to be anywhere near your local store at all (it just has to be a major Supermarket, which Waitrose is).

If you get turned down refer it up the line at your store. If they say they don't take them because there is no Waitrose nearby, they are wrong! If you're brave, show them the coupon policy wording email (above) and explain that proximity of the competitor is not an issue, all Tesco are supposed to take these vouchers regardless. Smile politely but be persistent and confident.

Finally don't bin them (Dr Who-Who take note!:D). If refused then send a letter - with the £60 receipts and vouchers - to Dundee and await the arrival of a nice £10 Tesco gift card.

T's should accept Waitys moc - I used Morrison's (£5), Sainsurys (£5) and Co-op (£2) yesterday together with loads of others. Gave £2.35 for nearly £45 shop.

Hi All

Just to say that I am heading off to Center Parcs (the Lake District one) tomorrow for a week. So I won't be able (obviously) to keep the first page updated.

Hopefully it won't take me too long to wade through the thread when I get back. But if anyone wanted to help they could PM any new coupons as and when they are discovered (to save me having to hunt through all the new posts). :p

I'll miss my daily fix of reading this thread!!! A week without the internet! Will I survive? LOL!

Well Honey,

I hope you have the most wonderful holiday!!:D:D:D

We all thank you for all your hard work and the massive contribution you make to this forum, you are a star!

Have a well earned rest and we looking forward to you coming back.:j

Went to Boots yesterday to use the Grazia sanctuary coupon - they actually paid me 19p to take it away :j

How did you manage that? I had to pay Boots 1p for my Salt Scrub!

Coupon-mad - you'll prob know the answer to this please - If you're at Tesco and intend to use both a "£10 off a £60 spend at Waitrose" coupon (Times today) and a "£5 off a £30 spend at Morrisons" coupon (the Sun) does your total spend before coupon use need to be £60 or £90?

Thanks
