I can sympathise my car is 4 months too old to fit into the new regs and is £200 a year to tax if it was registered 4 months later it would be £120 a year.2009 wins: Cadburys Chocolate Pack x 6, Sally Hansen Hand cream, Ipod nano! mothers day meal at Toby Carvery! :j :j :j :j0

I too find this madding. I have a Kangoo van, 02 reg diesel. £185.00 a year tax. The car version, exactly the same but with windows is £120.00.0

It's great for big engined pick ups though.
57 plate 3 litre Hilux same as the others £185
same 3 litre engine in Landcruiser it's £405 going up to £425 in 2010.
Fortunately we have the Hilux.
It's just one of those things, not being smug, i assure you i usually lose out in the gamble.0
