Advent sound driver required

Have a Advent 7109B
Thought I had the drivers back up ... was wrong :mad:

Formatted h/d and now have no sound !!

Lots of conflicting advice on the web
Ran Everest which only gives me the name of the motherboard as DMI dixon xp

Tried to run DriverGenius but cant get the 15 day free trail to work

So can anyone point me in the right direction

According to this, it's a Uniwill L51II9 in disguise. Are you running Windows XP or Windows Vista?

Drivers
The laptop should have been supplied with a "Notebook Utility CD" which contains a copy of the drivers and user manual. There should also be a backup copy of all the drivers installed on the laptop, you can find it by browsing to the c:\applications\drivers folder. Finally you can also download most of them from The Tech Guys website.

For future reference, drivers for Realtek hardware can also be found here. You may also have some luck with the Windows Update service on occasion.
