I'm interested to know if anyone has been given a poor credit limit from MINT. Just received there credit card and am a bit suprised at the credit limit they have given me of £1900. Don't want to sound ungrateful but my normal credit limit on other cards in the past have been between £3500- £5000. My circumstances haven't changed so am at a loss to understand why.

Yes I got a small credit limit. I have just cancelled the card and sent it back in two pieces!
They give me the lowest credit limit I have ever recieved and with the BT fee it was not worth keeping.0 -
I got a Mint card last summer. They gave me a £3,000 limit (below average) which they immediately upped to £4,100 when I phoned up to ask why it was so low.If I had a pound for every time I didn't play the lottery...0

I was going to ask what the BT fee is? I've been accepted and rec'd the PIN today and card will be here soon it says. Thing is, I was declined then accepted so it was in the middle of Jan I applied so cant really remember what I applied for. I dont want to look at their site incase the terms have changed since I applied, but do they always charge a BT fee, or is it 'we may' charge?
My credit limit is 3k and I want to transfer 3k, this is the amount I said on my application, but they said the info was 'incomplete' and to do the BT once I get the card... so assuming I transfer the whole 3k what happens with the fee on top, as clearly I dont want to go over my limit by transferring a balance across! Are payments made towards the fee first or the 0%? Sorry for all the Q's I'm just not sure what I signed up for now

you will more than likely find that they will only let you transfer 90% to 95% of the available limit so sorry about the bad news and if there is a fee then not much point in using the card imho0

Thanks, thought that would be the case. In that case, I'll ask them to raise my credit limit by a few hundred to make up for this, and also the length since application. Either that, or they extend the 0% for me, since its til Nov 06 but I've technically missed out on a month's worth @ 0% anyway. Worth a try, thanks again.
