AIG Home Insurance

Got a decent quote from AIG Home Insurance but when I try to retrieve it , the site keeps saying the quote service is not working - similarly when I start from scratch. One thing I am trying to remember - what is the default excess for their home insurance - anybody know ?Thanks

AIG premiums have jumped up massively on renewal this year. My mortgage adviser is rebrokering every one this year coming up on renewal. So, I would be surprised to see AIG come out well priced for you. Are you sure you are comparing like for like?

Depends on what version of their product you are looking at.

AIG are thought to be one of the main companies that caused the credit crunch and had to be bailed out by the U.S government to avoid the biggest bankruptcy ever.
