Painting a wall

Hi, I've been a lurker for a while but this is my first post here. I need some advice about how to paint my bedroom wall. I'm living in a rented flat and the walls are a bit grubby. The landlord has said I can re-paint. At the moment there's pale yellow paint on a plastered wall. I'd go for an off-white colour.
Is it best to use a paintbrush or a roller? Any tips about how to get the best possible finish? Also, there's some condensation/mould around the window. If I use an anti-fungal paint can I paint over it with the colour I want?
Thanks in advance

if your only painting one wall then a brush will be fine - make sure you get a half decent one tho
if you clean the mould off with bleach you can then paint it using normal paint0 -
You need to find the reason for the mould or else it will come back, so make sure the room gets adequate ventilation after, and there's no leaky guttering behind it to ruin your work.
Clean the whole wall with a bleach solution (not just where you see the mould).
The best way to paint it is to do the 'cutting in' with a 2 inch brush, go all the way round the edges so you get a good defining line, then do the reat with a roller.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.
