I was speaking to a friend the other day about giving away my digi box and wall mounted TV (bedroom) and buying a modern TV that would allow me to record films that were on late - as I do now with cassettes. She didn't think there was such a thing but surely there must be. I imagine programmes can be recorded on a DVD; is that the way it is done?. I feel stupid asking this really.
