It's a problem with their end dates - homeburd's link is OK. The main comp listing page gives 14/10 but the entry page gives 16/09. For a mag that came out in mid August, the 16/09 is probably correct, but it looks as if other mags (eg. Wordsearches Collection 9) have had the date extended to 14/10. I suggest you contact them to complain - see korky's post above.

People should note that the same problem is brewing with issue 10 of Criss Cross & Wordsearches Collection. The comp list gives closing dates of 11/11, but the entry pages give 14/10. mrsJeckyl has posted W/S Collection 10 with the 11/11 closing date at post #455. Criss Cross 10 has not yet been posted.

it's difficult with these mags as you say, i still buy them all & the dates sometimes given in the mags will differ to the online entry's
or they give 2 different entry dates, i would also suggest peeps enter them as soon as they're posted because of this,
we all post as soon as we have the mags to get them up early as possible to try to save any confusion,
it's not the ops fault, sorry to say but up to the peeps to phone/contact to complain/ask instead of bumping/asking the op
to sort it out

I entered Issue 9 at the end of August and the closing date was listed as 14 October, issue 8 closed on 16 September. If you look at issue 10 on the site, that now has a closing date of 14 October on the entry form but is stated as ending 11 November on the main list page.

Issue 10 Criss Cross : 9 September 2010
Competition closing date 11 November 2010

Issue 9 Criss Cross : 12 August 2010
Competition closing date 14 October 2010

It is confusing.

Good luck all.The magazine has end date as 11/11 but on the website it is showing as both 11/11 and 14/10.

hiya catmiaow, this only came out 2 days ago, i've been busy doing the puzzler comps & postals as you know please could you give me time to do the puzzles in the magazine or pm me to ask,
