Well, the 'call in to the office' went surprisingly well my boyf said!
When he turned up at work the manager was already in the office screaming and shouting at another employee who had time off (think I mentioned this in previous posts, someone else took the day off on the second day my boyf was off), he stormed out of the office and the boyf was then called in..
Not sure but I think the manager was all out of screaming and shouting!
Boyf said he got what he wanted to say out right away and the manager didn't argue about the sick pay.. Though he did say he didn't have to pay it! but would anyway!
So the poor guy that was in the office before got it all  The manager has actually been friendly towards my boyf since! Hmmm out of character he says.
Thank you all for your advice, very much appreciated even if it wasn't all needed this time.:T :j :T
The £2.00 Coin Savers Club = approx £22.00  :j.. The 20p Savers Club = £17.80.

Glad he is getting sick pay!
Some managers are so pig headed! Dont know how they keep their jobs - well I have a good idea - but I wont post it!!!
When you put about the other employee being in the office screamed and shouted at by the manager it just reminded me of my ex manager doing the same to me! She had me in her office shouting that I wasnt doing well enough at work - I was ill and told her that I wasnt well etc and we werent sure whether it was the start of ME. She screamed and shouted at me, I burst into tears and shot to the toilets, then walked out and said I was off to an emergency doctors appointment (which I made while walking back to the car!!).
There is so much pressure on employees at times - and alot of the time the managers are out of the store at 'meetings'.Weight Loss - 102lb0
