Decorating advice, avocado bath suite

This isn't strictly money saving, except that if money was no problem, I'd pay a decorator.
My bathroom suite is a lovely shade of avocado, actually its a horrible shade, but I have to live with it. I've just retiled with big white tiles a am looking to add some border tiles and then repaint the wall. But what goes with avocado?
I was thinking of trying to find some tiles with green and blue in them, and then paint the walls pale blue and add a blue shower curtain, but I'm not not sure.
Has anyone else had this problem, or got any suggestions?

I don't think you should add more colour, if you can't change the suite i think it would be better to keep the rest of the room as light as possible. White tiles and paint, and perhaps chrome accessories.

I agree with Sam if you are really sure you can't get rid of it, I would stick to white too.. I would stick to clear/opaque or white shower curtain too.... anything to lift the avocado suite... as for border tiles howabout a green and white mix you can get some nice narrow border tiles nowadays......
