Advertising on the radio that their bankers are making them sell off apartments which previously achieved over £300k at £165k. Feel a bit for the people that bought at £300k

Agree, if their bank is saying sell your assets they would kick them in the balls for then paying for a radio campain to sell them,
Bank as got an easier way to sell them if they have a debt, liquidation.0 -
Seem to remember about a year ago they were selling hotel rooms at £200k a pop. That one seems to have gone a little quiet.0

Galliard were over priced in the first place.
i still think they're over priced.
many get rich quick people have been burnt on some of their ventures.
the one overlooking the river isn't bad though.0 -

The advert I heard said half previously achieved price.
Please remember that the "previously achieved price" included one or more of:
vendor gifted deposit
2 year rent guarantees at 8%
no service charge for 2 years
"we'll pay your mortgage for 2 years"
carpets/ curtains/ white goods/ light fittings
etc etc.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly. its the way he says "reluctantly" in it that always makes me laugh. Ive heard this ad about a thousand times so far I listen to LBC pretty much all day and its on every 5 minutes. Must be paying a fortune on that cost! ( and it in metro too I saw & city AM)
I would love to know who paid 337- bet they are GUTTED. Im certain galliard wouldnt lie about that, especially if its in print.... Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
