Easyjet ruin my World Cup Trip

Yep.... complete disaster for me and my girlfriend who were heading over to the world cup. Easyjet have changed my flights and there's nothing I can do about it, and for you fellow MSEers I sure hope that Im not the first of many who have booked flights to Germany that have them changed.
Easyjet's reason.... "due to operational reasons we have had to
cancel and reschedule your flight."
The result, we're effectively losing two days and missing the match we had tickets for Brazil v Croatia. Im losing my days as the flight was originally in the morning flying out, its now in the evening and vice versa coming home, instead of flying back in the evening, we're now scheduled to fly in the morning.
Im completely gutted. The trip isn't worth the money we've put into it now and Im going to have to cancel the hotel and flights. What is my position now though - I booked the hotel with easyjetHotel and the flights with easyJet - as Easyjet made the changes, surely they can't charge me for cancelling now and am I entitled to my money back in full!?
I want to ask for your advice guys before phoning them up. Flights I feel I should definately be entitled to not losing out on a penny. As for hotel, it is an easyjetHotel booking and their terms say that the cost of cancelation is £15 if you cancel between11.12.2005 & 04.06.2006 - I personally feel annoyed at even paying that charge.
Thanks for any advice in advance,

Can you fly from somewhere else ? Ask Easyjet to change departure point.
Do you have annual insurance that would cover this nightmare ? Did you buy it on a credit card ?
You might be covered one of these ways****************************0 -

I would love to be a Travel Agent :j0 -
My suggestion would be to carefully check their t+c's. I can only talk from my experience of charter flights e.g monarch etc but they withhold the right to change flights up to 12 hours without compensation.I am a Travel Agent
My company’s ATOL/ABTA numbers are 6042/K2950. MSE doesn't check my status as a Travel Agent, so you need to take my word for it. ATOL numbers can be checked with the Civil Aviation Authority. This signature is here as I follow MSE's Travel Agent Code of Conduct.0
