I had a barclaycard some time ago, probably had it for 3 years out of the last 6. I don't have any statements or anything or account number references I don't think.
Is it worth me trying to claim anything, anyone any experience in this?

You can but include all information you have for the account and yourself, ie rough date when you closed it, name address at that time, etc,etc,I had a barclaycard some time ago, probably had it for 3 years out of the last 6. have you heard anything yet? as one another post i'm doing the same as you, no details etc.
i just thought DONT TRY, DONT WIN, so i done the same with other creditors===barclays, cap1, nationwide, and tesco.
found some account numbers, no statements though. i had forgot about most of them!!!

i have had a reply from barclays!!!! ( only 9 days)
only paying £30 + interest at 8%. done this with no details at the time, no statements etc.
