Bathroom Fit Quotes

Hello
I've received two widely different quotes for the following:
- Bathroom suite to be fitted (straight swap)
- One wall to be replaced (gyproc)
- Above wall and another part wall to be plastered
- Ceiling to be plasterd
-Tiling to one wall and two half walls and floor
-Replacement of skirting boards and door skirting
We will be buying the suite and tiles ourselves. I don't have exact measurements, but i have quite a small bathroom (no option to move suite around, no high ceilings etc)
One quote - £1400, the other £850-£900.
Which of these quotes is the most realistic?

The first one. The second will be cutting corners and thats not a good idea.

Thanks Rosebery. The first guy did seem more professional and we were really impressed, but £500 extra seemed like too much extra. I'll speak to the hubby - it's probably worth paying a bit extra and getting a good job.0

You ae right. You need to decide if you want a cheap job or the job doing properly. If its the latter (on the basis of data given so far) I'd go for the first quote. Did either give a breakdown?
You could always get a third to see how they compare.

I've just phoned another couple of quotes, so will see how they compare. Thanks again
