Ebay seeds

I may be really slow off the mark but does anyone buy their veg seeds from ebay? There look like some good deals but does anyone have any tips or horror stories to tell before I start buying? Are there any of the ebay on-line stores that you'd recommend?
It's up to me now and nobody else.

I've bought some from Premier Seeds (off ebay) this year and been very pleased with them. I had no problems with germination and v quick delivery.

Thanks Dave101t I'll have a look for Alan Romans website. I'm kind of wary of these on-line shops but the prices look so good.

Yeah I can agree with the above, it was V. quick delivery. I have used them twice and would have no worries about using them again.

I have seen some posts where people have had issues with germination from romans, but no seeds are 100%.

Have used cheap seeds from Aldi, lidl , netto and morrisons and seen no different between cheap and more expensive seeds. The only problem is to get rarer varieties such as unusual tomatos you won't find them in these cheaper stores.

I have used premier seeds on ebay too. Very good. The seeds come in littleplastic bags with a sticker on so you have to read online how to sow them if you don't know

Hi, I've bought a couple of seedlings from ebay, not veg though and I've been very happy with them.

If you are unsure that I'd suggest buying from an ebay business and/or checking the sellers feedback before bidding.

The last ebay company I bought a plant from was hotplantco, who have 5 figures worth of feedback! I don't know if they do veg seeds, but from what I remember they had tons of choice.

Hope that helps in some way.

    I used them last year.

They send you lots of seeds for the money you pay. Occasionally they will send you a packet of free seeds as well.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p
